Cloud Computing Systems and Ecosystems: Science, Design, & Engineering
Cloud services are important for our society. They enable key application domains, banking and e-commerce, science and gaming, governance and education. However successful, we cannot take clouds for granted: the core does not rely on sound principles of science and design, engineering is often based on hacking, and there are warning signs about operations. This talk shows how to address these challenges with the principles of ecosystems.
